Clip in hair extensions

So many celebs wear extensions & spend thousands of pounds keeping their hair looking this fabulous. But you can achieve looks like this one really easily, at a fraction of the price! Clip in hair extensions are a great option & alot easier to look after than the bonded types.
Im going to be doing some tutorials on how to recreate looks like Tulisas but in the mean time here are a a few tips to get you started.
Hair extensions need caring for in similar ways to your natural hair, however they dont need washing as often, even if you wear them daily you only really need to wash them weekly. When you do wash them lightly shampoo & condition them, apply morrocan oil or a light leave in conditioner, comb through gently from the tips and allow to dry naturally.
Extensions can be styled using heat such as straighteners or tongs, however its best to turn the temperature down to minimise damage. If you struggle to curl with straighteners here is a really easy way. Take a small section wrap it around 2 of your fingers, hold on to the ends & clamp between the plates of your straighteners for a few seconds, when you release allow the curl to cool before dressing out with your fingers.
If you have fine hair & you struggle with getting the snap clips to stay in place back comb lightly the section & apply hairspray, this will help to anchor the clip into place.
I havent tried them myself as yet but if you are looking for great clip in extensions the brand that alot of celebs love is Hair Rehab London by Lauren Pope (TOWIE) www.hairrehablondon.com
